Find Your Balance, LLC

Mind, Body, and Spirit are elements of our being that are deeply intertwined. For better or for worse, a change in one element will naturally impact the whole of an individual. When we are out of balance in mind, body, or spirit, the overall effect is that we don’t feel well. We become plagued by knowing something is wrong, but perhaps do not know exactly what that is, how we got there, or how to begin changing it. As the imbalance worsens, so does our discomfort, and we begin to suffer the effects of emotional dis-ease and physical disease. An imbalance may commonly present itself (for example) as anxiety or depression. When a struggle wages in the mind, its effects are often felt throughout the body in the form of fatigue, digestive problems, muscle tension, restlessness, sleep issues, or changes in appetite and weight. A holistic approach to wellness addresses all the elements of an individual, as they are unified and inseparable.

Healthy relationships are critical to a person’s well-being. The counseling relationship is therefore paramount in facilitating and supporting the healing process. Every client is treated with acceptance, warmth, compassion, honesty, and respect. Judgment is not useful or beneficial. Everything we have done up to this moment has been a valuable and necessary step along the path of our unique life’s journey. The question now becomes, where do we go from here?

The therapy process provides an opportunity to begin a transformative wellness journey of courage and hope, one that has the power to positively change both internal and external life experiences and heal the whole individual. As a licensed professional clinical counselor, I offer a holistic, integrative, wellness-informed approach to healing. My purpose is to help you find your balance in mind, body, and spirit and regain a healthy relationship with Life.

The mind is like water. When it’s turbulent, it’s difficult to see. When it’s calm, everything becomes clear.
